Premium Crack Filling - UN1ON KRACK SEAL

UN1ON KRACK SEAL Paste is a single-pack, acrylic-based, ready-to-use putty designed for filling and sealing cracks on both internal and external plastered surfaces.

Areas Of Application:

As a crack-filling paste for internal and external surface cracks on masonry surfaces such as brick, blocks or plaster up to 5 mm in width.

Properties:

• Appearance - White Paste
• Chemical Base - Acrylic with specially added filler
• Density - 1.5 ± 0.1 kg/L
• Full curing time@ 30°C, days - 7
• Service Temperature - +5 °C min. / +45 °C max

Surface Preparation:

• Surface must be free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles, etc. Moisten the surface before
  applying UN1ON KRACK SEAL.
• The cracks must be widened in V shape groove and SSD before filling UN1ON KRACK SEAL.
• For filling UN1ON KRACK SEAL on the internal surfaces, existing POP or putty must be removed till plaster surface is exposed.
• Fine hair line cracks must be widened with V groove up to 1 mm minimum and then filled.

Application Process:

• Press UN1ON KRACK SEAL firmly into the crack with a spatula or putty knife and level the surface.
• Handball application can also be used as per the convenience.
• Care must be taken to avoid formation of cavities or bubbles during application.
• Allow it set for 24 hours and then apply another coat of UN1ON KRACK SEAL in case of sag or
  depression.
• Further POP or painters putty application can be taken up once it is fully dry.
• For best results allow UN1ON KRACK SEAL Acrylic Paste to cure for 7 days.

Cleaning:

Clean tools & equipment by soap & water. Wash hands with soap & warm water.

Precautions & Limitations:

• Not for cracks in POP or painter’s putty.
• Not recommended to use under the rain.
• Not meant for structural cracks in concrete, slab, construction joints.
• Jet or Power washing on walls not advisable prior to application.
• During application below 10°C, drying time will be delayed.
• Close the container tightly after application and prevent contact of material with air while not in use to prevent curing and hardening of material.

Coverage:

1 kg covers 30–50 linear meter for crack of 5 mm width

Packing:

• Packing available: 1 KG ,5 KG & 20 KG

Storage:

12 months from the date of production. Store the material in cool and dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

Health & Safety:

• As with all chemical products, caution should always be exercised.
• Protective clothing, such as gloves and goggles, should be worn (see Packing for specific
  instructions).
• Treat any contact to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately.
• Should any of the products be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting but call for medical assistance immediately.
• Ensure the container is available for the medical attendant to examine any relevant instructions and contents details.
• Reseal all containers after use and ensure product is stored as instructed on the safety section of the labelling.
